How to Withdraw Your Funds

Withdrawing funds from your account is easy. Simply click the blue button entitled My Account on the left sidebar and then click Holdings & Balances. From the Holdings & Balances page click Withdraw Funds and follow the self-explanatory steps. Please note that you will receive an email when your Withdraw Funds (Check, PayPal, transfer to your account on NAXCOM.com) request has been processed. Customer checks are mailed directly from NAXCOM/ThePit, via regular U.S. postal mail, typically every Tuesday & Thursday. PayPal & NAXCOM Transfer withdrawls processed within 1-2 business days. Check withdrawls under $20 are subject to a $1 handling fee. There is no charge to our customers for processing check requests that are sent via regular U.S postal service over $20. If requested, checks can be mailed by overnight express mail for a charge of $25 or by 2nd day air for a charge of $12.50. Please choose the 'Regular Mail' option for delivery of checks to Alaska and Canada. ThePit.com uses USPS for mailings to those destinations and does not guarantee next day or 2nd day service. Please call customer service if you must have expedited service. Please note, the earliest that we can process checks requested after 12pm (PDT) is the next business day. ThePit.com does not guarantee that a check request will be processed on the day of the request and we make every effort to process your check requests within 3 business days in the manner in which you requested but do not guarantee that it in every circumstance. Please note that thePit.com at its discretion reserves the right to credit any requested funds back to a customer's credit card in lieu of sending a check. ThePit.com will only exercise this right in cases of excessive credit card charging by an account. ThePit.com also reserves the right to charge a $5 fee for each check request after the 5th check request during any calender month by the same customer account. If imposed, this fee will be deducted from the check amount requested.

How to Withdraw Your Cards and Request Delivery

Hold your cards in your account at thePit.com and avoid shipping fees.
To request delivery, please follow the below steps. Please remember that you are responsible for shipping costs and insurance fees. The system will tell you how much the fees will be at the time you process the shipping request. For shipments outside the United States please choose either the International, FPO or APO options and the applicable shipping fees. Please click here for important information regarding APO, FPO, and shipments outside the United States. Our system will not allow shipping requests to be submitted if the account balance is insufficient to cover the shipping fees.
  1. From the Holdings & Balances page, click on "Ship My Cards".  This function is for account holders only.  You will be asked to input your user name and password if you are not already signed on.
     
  2. A list of your holdings will appear.  Specify the quantities of each card that you would like shipped to you, then hit the submit button when complete.
     
  3. Drop Shipping is available, however, users may be requested to Sign a Drop Shipping Confirmation Letter.
     
  4. Choose a delivery option.  Packages usually ship within 3 business days of your request and are shipped in the manner of your choice.  During high volume times it is not guaranteed that your ship request will be processed within 3 business days. Please note, the earliest that we can process ship orders requested after 12:00pm (PDT) is the next business day. Insurance coverage for the current market value of the cards being shipped will automatically be purchased on outgoing shipments. The current market value of the shipment will be shown below the ship method as the Declared Value. The shipping options and applicable rates are listed below along with the insurance rate. APO or FPO Shipment Address $10 flat fee + 35 cents per card shipped. Shipments are sent by US Postal Service by express mail and tracking is purchased.     *Please note: Some large Next Day and 2nd Day shipping orders may have to be sent as ground shipments depending on the weight of the package. If a next day or 2nd day request has to be changed to ground, the user will be give the opportunity to pay extra or switch the shipping method to ground. A signature will be required by UPS confirming receipt of the package for all outgoing shipments with a declared value of $500 or greater. An additional charge of $2.00 will automatically be added to the ship fees. The insurance charge is 35 cents per $100 of insurance coverage purchased after the first $100. The first $100 of value is insured at no charge. Insurance is mandatory and appropriate charges are automatically added to ship fees at the time of request.
      Shipping Example: The charge for 10 Graded cards worth a total of $500 by Next Day Air option would be $36.40. Next Day Air (Flat Fee) $34.50   10 Cards (10 x .40) $4.00 Signature Required Fee  $2.00 Insurance (4 x .35)  $1.40 Total $41.90
     
  5. Click the Confirm button to submit the order. 
Customers shipping to a N.Y. State address will be charged an 7.75% sales tax, based on the customer's average cost basis for any (and only) "Deal of the Week" cards being shipped. If the customer has a N.Y. State Resale Certificate on file with thePit.com then the tax charge will be automatically reversed. Important Information Regarding APO, FPO, And Shipments Outside the Continental United States

If you wish to know the approximate cost of your shipment outside the United States prior to requesting your shipment, please contact us by email or call Customer Service at (310) 568-8825. Please be prepared to provide the number of cards that you wish to ship, the approximate value of the cards being shipped, and the address that you wish to ship to. Shipments must be sent to an address on file with thePit.com. International shipments are sent by DHL or the Unites States Postal Service and are expected to arrive at their destinations within 5 to 7 business days.

**Please choose the 'Ground' option for shipments to Alaska. ThePit.com uses USPS for shipments to this destination and does not guarantee next day or 2nd day service. An additional flat fee of $10 will be added to the $4.75 Ground rate after your ship order is entered. If you must have expedited service, please call customer service.

thePit.com does ship to APO and FPO addresses via US Postal Service. If a shipment to an APO or FPO address is desired, please choose that shipping method when processing your request.

International customers may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are levied once a shipment reaches the destination country. Additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by the customer at the time of delivery; we have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. Customs policies vary widely from country to country; customers should contact their local customs office for further information. When ordering from thePit.com, customers are considered the importer of record and must comply with all laws and regulations of the country in which they are receiving the goods.

Customs forms for international packages will list the contents and the value of the order. If the order is a gift, please be aware that the package will still contain the customs forms with the contents and value listed. Currently, we are not able to describe the contents in any other way to local authorities.

Lost/Damaged Cards Policy

thePit.com is fully insured on all card shipments to its customers for the value of the enclosed card(s) at the time of shipment.  Problems with these deliveries are resolved as indicated below.
  1. Customers should contact thePit.com immediately if there is reason to believe that a package is missing, does not contain the cards that it should, or if a package is received with damaged cards.  The customer should include as much detail as possible including the account number, account name, shipping order date, cards involved and a detailed description of the problem.  If damaged cards are received, the damaged cards and the original shipment packaging must also be shipped back to thePit.com before an investigation can begin. DHL will not process a claim without the damaged goods and all original packaging material including the shipping label.
     
  2. thePit.com and its insurance provider, currently DHL, will investigate cases individually.
     
  3. Customers should expect an investigation to take approximately 3-4 weeks from the time that thePit.com is notified to be resolved, but customers should allow more time for high value investigations.  If and when DHL reimburses thePit.com, we will immediately attempt to replace the lost or damaged cards and reimburse the customer for the ship fees. PLEASE note that we do not guarantee specific performance in every situation. In other words, we will not replace lost or damaged cards that may be very hard to replace or may have fluctuated a great deal in value since shipment was requested. As a matter of practice, we automatically insure shipments for the market value of the cards on the ship date. The market value on the ship date will be displayed on the ship screen as the Declared Value at the time of processing a ship request. In situations where we do not replace the lost or damaged cards, the customer will receive the Declared Value amount plus the shipping fees paid for the shipment.
Please note that customer accounts with recurring shipping problems will be reviewed and closed if required.
